Catherine L. Walberg joined Goodell, Stratton, Edmonds & Palmer LLP and brings over 20 years of experience ranging from serving as Deputy Secretary/Litigator for the Department on Aging to being a key leader in the healthcare and insurance industries. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, after completing her Bachelor of Arts in French Literature from the University of Kansas.

Ms. Walberg has positively influenced legislation affecting the healthcare industry and provides practical, strategic, and innovative legal and operational assistance to her clients. She supports organizational growth and success while minimizing risk and liabilities.

Ms. Walberg is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Kansas, Missouri, and Topeka Bar Associations, Topeka Lawyers Club, Kansas Association of Hospital Attorneys, and the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel. She has served on various committees, including the American Bar Association’s HIPAA/HITECH Task Force & Security Rule Subcommittee.
