Cynthia Sheppeard

Cynthia J. Sheppeard

Cynthia J. Sheppeard has been in private litigation practice since graduating from Washburn University School of Law in 1984. Her experience includes serving as defense counsel in product liability, toxic torts, employment, medical malpractice, business, contract, and personal injury cases.

Ms. Sheppeard represents individuals and agencies in administrative matters before the Kansas State Boards for Healing Arts, Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, and Behavioral Sciences. She also represents clients in administrative matters before the Kansas Human Rights Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Ms. Sheppeard is admitted to the bar in Kansas and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She is a member of the Topeka Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, Kansas Association of Defense Counsel, Kansas Association of Hospital Attorneys, Kansas Women Attorneys Association, and Topeka Lawyers Club.
