Susan L. Mauch utilizes her thirty years of experience in federal and state courts to represent clients in employment matters, business disputes, contracts, real estate, estates and trusts, copyright infringement, and construction. She represents clients before administrative tribunals, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Kansas Human Rights Commission, Board of Healing Arts, Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, Kansas Board of Nursing, Kansas Board of Accountancy, Kansas Department of Labor, Kansas Civil Service Board, Kansas Board of Tax Appeals, and Kansas Dental Board.

In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Mauch advises business and hospital clients, statutorily created state and local entities, and not-for-profit corporations as outside general counsel on a broad range of matters. She has conducted internal investigations for clients and led in-house supervisor training. Ms. Mauch also speaks on topics of interest in employment law to clients and industry groups.

Ms. Mauch is a member of the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel, Kansas Association of Hospital Attorneys, Topeka Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, and Topeka Lawyer’s Club. She has served on the boards of Topeka Ronald McDonald House (President), Topeka Bar Association (Secretary), Downtown Topeka Rotary (Secretary), and the Topeka Public Schools Foundation.

Ms. Mauch earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Kansas. While in law school, she was awarded the Judge Walter A. Huxman scholarship.
