Susan L. Mauch
Susan L. Mauch, the daughter of a lawyer, attended the University of Kansas, where she was active in Delta Sigma Pi. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1989 and her Juris Doctorate in 1991 and was admitted to bar in April 1992. While in law school she was awarded the Judge Walter A. Huxman scholarship.

Ms. Mauch has represented clients in disputes arising out of employment rights, statutory interpretation, contracts, real estate, wills and trusts, and divorce. Her practice includes representation before the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board, Kansas Board of Tax Appeals, Kansas Civil Service Board, Kansas Board of Nursing, Kansas Dental Board, and the Department of Labor - Division of Unemployment.

Throughout her career, Ms. Mauch has advised clients on employment matters relating to employee hiring, discipline and termination; personnel handbooks; non-compete agreements; and Fair Labor Standards Act compliance. She has also conducted internal investigations pertaining to social media abuse and sexual harassment claims and led in-house supervisor training.
​
In representing public entities, she has defended claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, and wrongful failure to hire, and regularly advises on interpretation and application of state and federal law and regulations and municipal bond compliance.
​
She has served as a member of the boards of directors of the Topeka Bar Association, Downtown Topeka Rotary, and the Topeka Ronald McDonald House, as well as participating as an active member of Junior League of Topeka, Inc. Ms. Mauch is a member of the Topeka and Kansas Bar Associations as well as the Topeka Lawyer's Club.
